Each year, generous donors provide gifts at the holidays to the abused and neglected children served by CASA for the Highland Lakes Area. Thanks to the businesses, churches, professional organizations and groups of friends who have fulfilled Angel Tree requests is the past. We simply could not do it without you! As more and more children are removed from their home in the area, the need has grown, with gifts for over 200 children projected for this year.
Our volunteers and staff are busy collecting gift ideas from children and their caregivers and preparing Angel Tree request cards, which we will begin to provide to donors on November 14th. Angel Tree donors will purchase the gifts and either deliver them to the location/business they picked up the angel card from of deliver them directly to the CASA for the Highland Lakes Area office in Kingsland on or before December 12th so that volunteers may deliver them to children. We also welcome donations of gift cards in increments of $25.
